The preparations for the 2012 presidential campaign are under way in towns and villages of the country. The meetings supporting presidential candidates held throughout the country testify for the democratic orientation of all activities taking place in the framework of the nomination campaign.

Members of the sports organisations and specialists of the oil and gas enterprises and educational institutions held a joint meeting at the Dashoguz Khyakimlik.

The proposal to give the vote of confidence to Head of the Nebitgazdyyupliabatlayys Trust of the Turkmengaz State Concern G. Mollanyyazov, who had been nominated for the presidency by the National Checkers Centre of Turkmenistan and the Balkan Velayat Football Federation, was considered during the meeting.

The meeting participants highly evaluated the candidate’s managerial skills, profound professional experience and moral qualities.

The convention supported the decision of the National Checkers Centre of Turkmenistan and the Balkan Velayat Football Federation to nominate Head of the Nebitgazdyyupliabatlayys Trust of the Turkmengaz State Concern G. Mollanyyazov for the 2012 presidential election.

A meeting supporting the nomination of G. Mollanyyazov was held at the Ruhnama Centre of the Turkmenabat silk production association.
