After the ceremony of official photographing in front of the State Flags of Turkmenistan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Rustam Minnikhanov held the one-to-one top-level talks.
Thanking the Turkmen leader for the cordial welcome and the opportunity to visit Turkmenistan once again, Rustam Minnikhanov expressed belief in that the visit would be another step towards strengthening and widening cooperation with fraternal Turkmenistan.

Particular attention was paid to the progress in implementing agreements achieved earlier as well as new opportunities for diversification of the partnership. The parties specified trade and economic sphere, fuel and energy complex as well as industrial sector, agriculture, sport and tourism among the priority areas for cooperation.

Noting that at present Turkmenistan pays particular attention to development of physical and health-improving movement and sport as well as creation of a modern material and technological basis in this sphere, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the huge practical experience of Tatarstan in this area and the possibility of using it in our country, in particular within the framework of the preparations for the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which would be held in Ashgabat in 2017.
