President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a videoconference meeting with Vice Premier in charge for the agricultural complex of the country, the heads of core ministries and departments, khyakims of regions and the capital of Turkmenistan. The meeting agenda focused on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns, preparations for the grain harvesting campaign, implementation of the national programme of development of rural areas, as well as the other aspects of the socio-economic development of the country.
Velayat Khyakims presented their reports. Particular attention was paid to the level of the organizational and technological readiness for the beginning of the grain growing campaign, as well as the progress of construction works in the regions.
The Heads of the regions also reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns, informed the Turkmen leader on the plan of events to ensure fire safety in the regions. Moreover, it was reported on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities, as well as preparations for the Turkmen Melon Day. The Head of the eastern region of the country informed the Turkmen leader on the preparations for the Elders’ Council meeting, which will be organized in Lebap Velayat this year.
Ashgabat Khyakim R. Nurammedov reported on the progress of works in the Turkmen capital, and fulfillment of the Turkmen leader’s instructions.
Minister of Internal Affairs I. Mulikov reported on fulfillment of the Turkmen leader’s instructions to ensure fire safety on the territory of the country.
Vice Premier A. Yazmyradov, Minister of Agriculture Ch. Charlyev, Chairman of the Obahyzmat State Association B. Hommakov reported on the preparations for the grain harvesting campaign.
Commenting on the reports, the President of Turkmenistan gave a number of instructions regarding the implementation of the grain harvesting campaign in the country. In this regard, the Turkmen leader demanded the relevant officials to speed up the agricultural works and increase their efficiency.
Underlining the significance of reforming the organizational approaches in the sphere of construction, the President signed the Resolutions on appointing Deputy Khyakims in charge of construction in a number of etraps. The President also instructed the head of the regions to start the preparations for festivities on occasion of the forthcoming national holidays.
Other important issues related to development of regions and the Turkmen capital were considered during the videoconference meeting.
