Dashoguz Velayat Deputy Khyakim in charge of the agricultural sector Rejep Bazarov held a meeting at the Ashgabat Cinema and Concert Center.
The chairman of the velayat election commission opened the meeting and gave the floor to the authorized representative of Rejep Bazarov, a senior lecturer of the Dashoguz Agricultural University Ya. Ataev. Informing the meeting participants of the candidate’s biography, he characterized the presidential candidate as an initiative, responsible and experienced manager able to fulfil the assigned tasks.
Presenting the key provisions of his election programme, R. Bazarov emphasized that he firmly determined to promote the open door policy and enhance international cooperation, uphold national interests and enhance the prestige of Turkmenistan as a peace-building state in the world arena. Particular attention was paid to strengthening of the large-scale reforms in the agro-industrial sector as a strategic segment of the national economy, implementation of the social programmes, development of urban and rural areas and promotion of education, science and culture. The national policy priorities will include safe drinking water supply to rural areas. The presidential candidate intended to continue with the strategy for enhancing international mutually beneficial cooperation and enhancing the international prestige of the Turkmen state.
R. Bazarov answered the participants’ questions about the prospects for developing various sectors of the national economy, the Turkmen capital and all the regions of the country, social welfare and industrial construction projects.
