President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the festivities on occasion of opening a new village built in Ahal Velayat as well as a disinfectants production plant in Abadan Etrap in the Turkmen capital.
The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Vice Premiers, heads of ministries and departments, military and law-enforcement agencies, Ahal Velayat Khyakim, as well as heads of diplomatic representations and missions accredited in our country gathered together to take part in the opening ceremony of a new village that received a symbolic name – Tyaze Zaman (New Epoch). Among the ceremony participant were the heads of public organisations and mass media, as well as local citizens.
The Turkmen leader cut the ribbon and opened the new village.
There are one-storey and two-storey cottages of seven types designed for one and two families, school, kindergartens, health centre, cultural centre, consumer services centre, sports complex, shopping centre, shops, and other infrastructure facilities in the new village.
All necessary conditions for the educational process as well as creative and physical development of pupils are created in the new school designed for 800 pupils. There are spacious light classrooms and specialized rooms for studying particular disciplines as well as computer and language laboratories supplied with the state-of-the-art multimedia equipment in the school. Pupils will practice sports in two gyms supplied with sports equipment.
Two new kindergartens designed for 240 children each have all necessary conditions for harmonious education and development of kids of various age groups. There are wonderful bedrooms, rooms for playing and educational trainings, gymnastic and musical halls. It was also envisaged essential conditions for getting initial education by children, computer and language laboratories equipped with up-to-date training technique. There are playing grounds and pavilions on the territory of the kindergarten planted with greenery and decorated with the sculptures of favorite fairytale heroes.
The new Centre of Culture is designed for 200 places. It will host various festivities, including weddings which can be arranged at the special Toý Mekany Hall. Local citizens will have an opportunity to practice various sports at the new physical and health-improving complex. The Trading Centre and local stores offer a wide range of various products to their customers.
The President visited one of the cottages. The guests were welcomed with baghshis’ performances. New dwellers treated their distinguished guests, including foreign diplomats, with delicious freshly baked bread. Entering the cottage, the Turkmen leader saw its layout and conditions created there. Cordially congratulating the rural family on moving to their new house, the President wished them happiness and family wellbeing and presented the gifts.
Then the Turkmen leader visited another house, where new dwellers had celebrations on occasion of moving to a new apartment and the birth of a new born baby - Bäbek Toýy. The President congratulated the family on the birth of a child and presented gifts.

Visiting other houses and newly constructed buildings, the Turkmen leader and all participants of the ceremony had a chance to see a Turkmen wedding party with its traditional rituals, including gelnaljy – arrival of a bridegroom to the bride’s house. The Turkmen leader wished the newly married couple happiness and family wellbeing.

The new pharmaceutical enterprise affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan - the plant on production of disinfectant solutions with the annual capacity of 200,000 litres is supplied with production and technological equipment for qualitative and quantitative analysis manufactured by leading companies in Germany, Japan, Italy, the US, Turkey. The enterprise runs its production processes in compliance with European standards and GMP requirements.
