A presidential candidate Minister of Water Industry Annageldi Yazmyradov held a meeting with his constituencies at the Ashgabat Concert and Cinema Centre in Ashgabat.

The chairman of the municipal election commission opened the meeting and gave the floor to the candidate’s authorized representative H. Kuliev. The authorized representative informed the meeting participants of A. Yazmyradov’s biography. Introducing the candidate, H. Kuliev dwelt upon the candidiate’s contribution to promoting the national environmental policy and characterized A. Yazmyradov as an experienced and energetic manager and competent specialist, who had the prominent managerial skills and high proficiency level.

A. Yazmyradov presented the key provisions of his election programme, including the implementation of the large-scale projects in the oil and gas, transport and communications sector, enhancement of the efficiency of the agro-industrial sector through applying scientific and technological advances and efficient use of water resources. Substantial efforts will be taken to improve the quality of life and health and guarantee social protection of citizens.

The presidential candidate answered the meeting participants’ questions and specified the key provisions of his election programme related to the foreign policy priorities and the development of the fuel and energy and agro-industrial sectors.
