According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the heavy massive turnover was observed at the polling stations opened at the diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan in foreign countries. There was openness and transparency throughout the election process. The organizers ensured that Turkmen citizens who were abroad on the day of the presidential election could exercise their constitutional rights.

29 polling stations were opened at the diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan in foreign countries on the day of the presidential election at 8 a.m. local time.

Observers reported that the turnout in expatriate voting was high which testified to civic maturity, awesome responsibility and consciousness of our compatriots who reside, work and study abroad.
