Turkmen students won 9 medals of all three values at the end of the 28th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMC-2021), organized jointly by University College London (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) and American University (Bulgaria).
The annual Mathematics Olympiad gathered on its site this year about 600 students from 113 higher educational institutions of one hundred countries of the world - Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Poland, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Indonesia, Greece, France and others ...
According to the final results of a large mathematical competition, Gurt Dovletov, a student of the State Power Engineering Institute of Turkmenistan (Mary), was awarded a gold medal.
Three silver medals were won by students of the Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University - Murat Sapaev, Resul Shamukhammedov and Akmukhammet Akmuradov. One silver medal was awarded to Oguldondi Gulyeva, a student of the International University of Humanities and Development.
The Turkmen students also won four bronze medals. Two of them belong to the students of the International University of Humanities and Development - Aigul Begendzheva and Mukhammetnur Bagbekov. Two more bronzes were won by Merdangeldy Bayramov (TSU named after Makhtumkuli) and Oguljan Charyeva (State Power Engineering Institute of Turkmenistan).
The winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees. We add that the official language of IMC-2021 was English and in this regard, our students showed excellent linguistic training.
