The results of the creativity competition were summarized

Recently the results of the competition of the artistic and op-ed articles on a topic “Independence, Neutrality – the wings of progress” were summarized, which was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan. The students of the higher educational institutions of our country took part in the creativity competition, organized by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan (IIR MFA).

The competitors contended in two categories. In the first one participated the students of the Faculty of Journalism, in the second – the learners on other specialties. The articles were assessed by the jury panel, composed of the journalists of our country and professors – lecturers of the institute.

The creative approach of authors to the coverage of the hot topics was noted in the articles. The works deal with the successive development in thew international cooperation, economy, science, education, sport and cultural and humanitarian areas.

As a result, among the students of the Faculty of Journalism, the best was the work of M. Matkurbanov – a first-year student of IIR MFA of Turkmenistan. The grand prix was awarded to his article. The fist place won T. Muhammetdurdyyev - a student of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli. The second place shared G. Hamedova, a second-year student of the IIR MFA and S. Kovusov, a fifth-year student of TSU named after Makhtumkuli. the third place won the works of of students S. Bazarova (International University of humanitarian sciences and development), T. Akjayeva and A. Atajikova (IIR MFA).

According to jury, among the student learning on specialties not related to the journalism, the best was recognized the work of O. Pirjikova, the student of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance. The second place won the student A. Garlyyev (Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi) and M. Geldiyev (Institute of Engineering and Technical and Transport Communication of Turkmenistan). The third place shared M. Koshakova (Turkmen State Medical Institute named after Myrat Garryev), S. Ummadov (Turkmen Agricultural Institute named after S.A. Niyazov) and A. Allanazarov (Institute of Telecommunication and Informatics of Turkmenistan).

In the festive atmosphere the diplomas, Certificates of Merit and valuable prizes were awarded from the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli, and National Center of Trade Unions.

Such events assist in the improvement of skills in the journalism, develop intellect, broaden their outlook, promote communication between the higher educational institutions using the digital information and communication technologies.
