The members of delegation of the People’s Republic of China, who arrived in the Turkmen capital led by the chief engineer of the Great Wall Industry Corporation, were received at the ministries and departments of the country.
The agenda of the meeting at the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan focused on the issues of further widening of efficient Turkmen-Chinese partnership in the sphere of high technologies and telecommunications. The meeting participants called for intensification of fruitful partnership given the mutual interests and priorities for development of the two friendly countries.
Exchanging the views on the urgent vectors of bilateral cooperation, the guests underlined that the Government of China paid particular attention to widening the multi-aspect efficient cooperation with Turkmenistan. During the meeting the Chinese specialists briefed their Turkmen colleagues on the key spheres of work of the Great Wall Industry Corporation, a leading industrial holding in the People’s Republic of China. Within 30 years, the company has manufactured satellites, provided services on launching of satellites, constructed ground control complexes, search for alternative energy sources as well as carried out works in the sphere of petrochemistry and electronics. Underlining the high interest in the further development of efficient bilateral cooperation, the chief engineer of the Great Wall Industry Corporation expressed the readiness of the company to take an active part in implementation of the national projects on modernization of the systems of communications and telecommunications carried out in our country. In this regard, the guest suggested sharing the huge experience the company gained in the sphere of advanced space technologies with Turkmen colleagues.
The meeting at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan focused on widening the partnership in the sphere of science and agro-industrial sector.
During their visit to the Turkmen capital the guests were received at the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Water Industry of Turkmenistan, and the Ministry of Nature Conservation of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of their staying in Ashgabat, the representatives of the People’s Republic of China visited the largest museums and landmarks of the Turkmen capital.
