The Turkmen-US business forum held within the framework of the II Exhibition of US Companies took place at the Mizan Business Center in Ashgabat.
Over a hundred of leading companies and financial structures represented the United States at the forum.
As is known, a number of joint projects in the key spheres of the national economy are successfully implemented in Turkmenistan with participation of US companies, dozens of which opened their representations and branches in Turkmenistan.
The US businessmen, in particular, expressed their interest in business proposals on creation and equipping modern industries and social and cultural facilities, modernization of the transport and communication infrastructure, information technologies, agriculture, etc.
One of the key topics of the talks was discussion of the prospects of cooperation in the fuel and energy sphere that is natural given the huge hydrocarbon potential of Turkmenistan, and the policy for diversification of the fuel and energy complex, on the one hand, as well as the increasing interest of foreign countries in supplying energy resources, in particular, natural gas, on the other hand.
In conclusion of the business forum, the US businessmen carried out the talks with the representatives of the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
