The members of foreign delegations who arrived in the Turkmen capital to take part in the festivities dedicated to the 20th anniversary of adoption of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the International conference dedicated to this remarkable date were received at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The issues regarding the democratic changes taken place in Turkmenistan, improvement of the national legislation in line with the key provisions of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, conventions ratified in our country and generally recognized standards of the international law were discussed during the meetings.
Particular attention was paid to the reforms in the legal sphere, and formation of the modern legislative and legal basis. Such approach has proved itself in strengthening and widening the legislative and legal basis aimed at leading the country along the way of progress stipulating several strategic vectors, including those ones related to economy and social sphere, science and education, culture and the work of local authorities.
The members of foreign delegations expressed the interest in fostering mutually beneficial partnership with Turkmenistan, establishing direct parliamentary relations as an important factor for enhancing bilateral relations, close contacts in the trading, economic and humanitarian spheres. Among the priority spheres for cooperation the interlocutors defined tourism that is rapidly developing in Turkmenistan. In this regard it was underlined the significance of the successfully implemented project on creation of the Avaza National tourism zone on the Caspian coast as the sphere for consolidation joint efforts and rich experience of foreign countries in the sphere of tourism.
