The delegation of Turkmenistan, led by D. Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, will participate in the World Smart City Expo, which will be held from September 3 to 5 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

The purpose of the trip is to optimize the development of the city of Arkadag, built on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as the country's first "smart" city, serving as a model for the entire national urban development.

The capabilities of the city of Arkadag, based on computer and smart technologies, will be presented in the exhibition pavilion at the WSCE. As the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized during a recent working meeting in the city of Arkadag, the Turkmen delegation should do everything necessary to showcase the unique achievements and splendor of Arkadag city. Participation in the World Expo will allow for the exchange of experiences and the implementation of advanced technological developments in Turkmenistan.

World Smart City Expo is the world’s largest and most influential event in the field of urban innovation, a technology exchange platform that brings together smart city leaders from around the globe.
