Employees of the "Turkmendenizderyayollary" agency, as well as representatives of ministries, departments and transport-logistics companies of the country, participated in a seminar on optimizing maritime shipping organized by the International Maritime Organization. 

International experts introduced participants to measures for optimizing maritime shipping and international legal documents in this field. In this context, the "Maritime Single Window" system and methods for implementing this system were presented.

During the seminar, discussions were held on creating a National Facilitation Committee (FAL) and issues related to its operation. 

The practical part of the seminar included group work, where participants, divided into two groups ("Dry Cargo" and "Passenger-Ferry" terminals), prepared presentations on the rules and procedures for documentation used during transportation between relevant parties when ships call at each terminal of the seaport. At the conclusion of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates.
