Turkmenistan is preparing to celebrate the Day of Workers of Construction and Industrial Complex

Important events have been scheduled to coincide with this newly established holiday, which will be celebrated for the first time on November 3. These events were discussed at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting held on Friday.

The events include specialized international exhibitions and conferences that will showcase achievements and future development plans in construction, industrial production, energy, chemical industry and road construction. Additionally, preparations are being made for the opening of a multifunctional solar and wind power plant with a capacity of 10 megawatts in Gyzylarbat etrap of Balkan velayat and a ceramic product manufacturing plant "Bäherden" in the Baherden etrap of Ahal velayat.

The solar-wind power plant is a unique "green" energy project for the country, with significant development prospects in Turkmenistan. Its implementation will increase the industry's capacity through clean energy sources, train national specialists, and create new jobs. The use of solar and wind energy is particularly important for improving energy supply to rural populations and areas remote from the central power supply system.

The new plant in Baherden etrap of Ahal velayat for producing ceramic tiles will be another example of effectively utilizing the country's natural resources to create modern enterprises focused on producing high-quality, import-substituting and export-oriented products. The plant is equipped with the latest specialized equipment from leading foreign manufacturers. Its design capacity is projected to produce 3.3 million square meters of ceramic tiles and 120,000 units of sanitary ware.

The primary raw material supplier for this plant will be the Open Joint-Stock Company "Turkmenkaolin." Kaolin is widely used as a primary raw material in producing porcelain and earthenware products, ceramic tiles, bricks, Portland cement, and as fillers in producing rubber products, paints and coatings, plastics, linoleum, etc. One of the kaolin clay deposits in Turkmenistan is located in the Garabogazgol Bay.

The implementation of this large-scale project was entrusted to Eziz Doganlar Economic Society, which already has experience constructing a ceramic products plant in Lebap velayat.
