The Turkmen delegation, consisting of representatives of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics, visits Turkey on October 21-26, 2024.

The members of delegation met with representatives of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Turkey and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. They discussed about the division of responsibilities between departments in the process of developing financial accounts, ensuring consistency in integrated accounts by identifying differences in data sources.

Besides, the specialists discussed the tasks on compiling a financial account, studied possible data sources, and also considered reporting templates and software tools for compiling financial accounts with members of the interdepartmental working group.

The visit was provided within the project "Assistance in the development of a financial account for the further implementation of the System of National Accounts 2008," which is being implemented by the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics in conjunction with the UN Development Program (UNDP) in Turkmenistan. The aim of project is to improve the quality of statistics.
