Young talents from more than 30 countries participated in the International Youth Festival "The Planet of Art-2024," organized by the Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO in cooperation with the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations (WFUCA).

An important aspect of the event was addressing the youth with a call to explore issues of protection, sustainability, and the significance of cultural and natural diversity.

In the final stage of the festival, participants aged 3 to 18 presented their creative projects on the theme "UNESCO World Heritage" in three categories: painting, photography, sculpture and decorative-applied arts.

Based on the jury's evaluation, winners were announced, including representatives of Turkmenistan. Among them were Selbi Rustemova, a 10th-grade student from Specialized Secondary School No. 26 with an advanced study of English, chemistry and biology in Dashoguz, and Gulnabat Annanurova, a student from the Sakhy Jepbarov Special School of Arts in Arkadag.

The award ceremony took place on October 26 at the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty). During the ceremony, works by finalists and winners were presented, after which young artists received honorary certificates and gifts.

Additionally, as part of the cultural-educational program, festival winners had the opportunity to participate in master classes and training sessions with leading educators and artists of Kazakhstan, providing a unique chance for personal and professional growth.

The works of participants of the International Youth Festival "The Planet of Art-2024" will be included in a thematic album titled "Art of World Heritage." Moreover, an exhibition of the winners' works is planned for November 2024 at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
