Representatives of the business community of Turkmenistan are expected at the "Middle Volga - Caspian" international trade and logistics forum. The event will be held on December 5-6 in Ulyanovsk (Russian Federation) as a part of the business forum "Business Climate in Russia". 

The forum is organised by the Government of Ulyanovsk region and the "Afanasiy Nikitin" Association. Among the participants are leading logistics and transport companies, including maritime, rail, river, road deliveries and air delivery to the Southern countries; ship owners, port and railway terminal operators, also companies that engaged in cross-border financial logistics. The forum is aimed to develop trade and economic cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Caspian region.

The participants will focus on discussing issues related to multi transport logistics, review of trade finance instruments and export insurance. Special attention will be paid to the "North - South" transport corridor project, which will provide direct cargo delivery from the ports of the Middle Volga to the Persian Gulf. The participants will also discuss the specifics of exports to the CIS and BRICs countries.
