Rice growers of the Lebap velayat, thanks to properly organized state support and good conditions, harvested more than 47,400 tons of rice, which amounted to approximately 47 centners per hectare.

Success was achieved by early determination of areas for rice sowing, involvement of experienced farmers, care of this labor-intensive crop in accordance with agricultural standards, maintaining the optimal water level, applying the necessary fertilizers and observing all stages of agricultural technology throughout the season. The increase in the purchase price of rice also became an important incentive for farmers. In addition, the use of the «Nukus-2» variety, adapted to local soil and climatic conditions, allowed for a significant increase in yield.

The highest results were achieved by Halach, Koytendag, Kerki, Hojambaz, Charjev and Danev etraps. In particular, Halach, Koytendag and Kerki etraps exceeded planned targets by more than 109%, demonstrating effective organization of work.

At the moment, all farmers in the region are actively completing the harvesting campaign, striving to preserve and transfer to the state every kilogram of harvested crop.
