Today, in the New Year's solemnity, which took place in the festively decorated hall of the Palace «Döwletliler köşgi», its children were given gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov as well as National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedova.

One of the overall objectives of the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state is harmonious education of the growing generation. It is namely in childhood that fundamental qualities of the individual, moral qualities and values, love for one’s country, respect for primordial national traditions, observance of precepts of ancestors are cultivated. In this area, our country carries out a consecutive complex work.

As known, among priorities of the state policy pursued under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov which is based on conventional norms of international law and humane principles, - strengthening of health of young Turkmen nationals, who are brought up and educated in children's homes, specialised schools and boarding schools - granting of possibilities for them to get high quality education. 

The unrelenting attention is paid to young citizens of the country who are in need of special care. And in this matter, Turkmen people have developed accurate criteria in the course of many centuries. Today they are embodied in a complex of legal guarantees of protection and other reciprocate measures aimed at their adaptation into the society, social support and preparation for independent life.

As the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan underlined at the meeting of the Board of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, which was held on December 7, 2024, our people have old humanistic traditions to surround the child with all-round care and love. The high love and attachment to children were always inherent in Turkmens. Following cherished principles of humanism of our ancestors and support to our children and teenagers who have been left without guardianship of parents or persons, replacing them, in our independent and neutral country they are surrounded by special attention and care.

«Any child in the country does not remain without guardian. The state stands firm for them. At the state level, measures on creation of favourable conditions for an all-around development of children and their high-grade participation in the life of society are consistently undertaken. We take a very responsible and a complex approach to the destiny of children who are in need of support and to maintenance of their happy future. In our country these children are in the centre of attention, for them all conditions are created so that they feel full members of a big and united family - Turkmen society», - Hero-Arkadag said.

In this connection, it is possible to name with good reason independent neutral Turkmenistan as the country of happy childhood where cherished dreams come true.

And today near a big fir tree the festive atmosphere reigns. Ayaz baba, Garpamyk and the Snake, a symbol of the new year 2025 as well as representatives of the Mejlis, Khalk Maslakhaty, several ministries, departments and public organisations came to congratulate children  of the Palace «Döwletliler köşgi» with the new year.

In our independent fatherland thanks to care of head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a large-scale work is carried out to educate harmonious intellectual, physically strong and spiritually rich generation and all-round disclosing of its multilateral talents.

So, in the Palace children obtain not only knowledge, but also learn various trades, which allow them upon completion of the school confidently to step into the adult life. They learn fine arts and music, practise various sports and attend clubs, many of them are prize-winners of prestigious creative competitions and international festivals held in Turkmenistan and abroad. Among them are winners of the children's prize named after Gulbaba - dancing group «Joşgun».

Young Turkmen nationals displayed their creative abilities in today's celebration, performing with their concert program before guests.

At the green fir tree, which sparkles with its tinsel and illumination, they with enthusiasm recited poems, performed joyful dances and inspired songs glorifying our beloved fatherland, the President of Turkmenistan and devoted to the New Year's holiday.

Young talents finished their performances with the round dance around the fir tree together with Ayaz baba, Garpamyk and characters of Turkmen folklore and fairy tales of nations of the world.

Then, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to the huge joy of children, gifts, including interactive means of education were given.

On completion of the holiday, children of the Palace «Döwletliler köşgi» expressed their deep gratitude to the head of the state and Hero-Arkadag for happy peaceful childhood, constant care and attention, and the kindest wishes and congratulations with the happy New Year.
