The businessmen of the Federal Republic of Germany were received at the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
The delegation of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations includes the heads and specialists of a number of leading companies of the Federal Republic of Germany working in the spheres of the oil and gas industry and energy, transport and communications, trading and finance, agro-industrial industry, and a number of other spheres of the national economy. Among them are the representatives of such companies as Bauer Comp Holding AG, Lemken GmbH, John Deer International GmbH, ThyssenKrup AG, etc.
During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties discussed the issues on the further enhancing the Turkmen-German cooperation and implementing the agreements achieved earlier.
The trading and economic, fuel and energy, transport and communications, agro-industrial sectors, as well as scientific and educational spheres were defined among the priority vectors for cooperation.
The issues of fostering cooperation in the fuel and energy sector were discussed during the meetings at the Ministry of Economy and Development of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Energy and Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan the parties expressed mutual interest in diversification of the Turkmen-German cooperation that has received a powerful incentive for further fruitful development.
