Turkmenistan's military marched across Red Square in Victory Day Parade

The honor guard company of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan solemnly marched along Red Square in Moscow, taking part in the parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The military unit was greeted by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in the capital of the Russian Federation to participate in the commemorative events.

The contribution of the valiant sons of Turkmenistan to the common Victory is priceless. Our brave countrymen fought with exceptional selflessness on the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, demonstrating unparalleled bravery, unwavering fortitude and iron will. Their glorious feat is an imperishable example of the deepest love for the Fatherland, high valor and unbreakable devotion to duty. The names of those who fell and returned with Victory are forever imprinted in the multi-volume publications "Hatyra" and "Şöhrat".

These days, Turkmenistan is hosting celebrations dedicated to Victory Day, including the traditional flower-laying ceremony at the "Eternal Glory" monument in Ashgabat, as well as festive concerts and thematic exhibitions.
