Preparations have begun in the territory of the Kunya-Urgench etrap to ready the land area for the construction of a new 220/110/35/10 kV electrical substation. The new building is designed to receive and transform electrical energy from the Dashoguz state power plant and partially supply it to industrial and municipal consumers, as well as various economic facilities in the Kunya-Urgench etrap.
The new substation is being built by order of the "Dashoguzenergo" production association. After commissioning, it will replace the outdated "Novcha" electrical power facility and will contribute to the uninterrupted supply of electricity to consumers, maintaining the proper voltage level in local electrical networks.
The design of the new substation takes into account the prospects for further development of the etrap's infrastructure. As throughout the country, great attention is paid in the velayat to the further development and modernization of the power system, and to the reliable supply of electricity to the region. Thanks to the successful implementation of large state projects, the entire energy infrastructure of the region has become part of the country's single closed energy ring.
The phased modernization of various electrical power facilities continues in the velayat, aimed at further improving the efficiency of operation of existing communications and the uninterrupted supply of electricity.
