Leather and footwear production in Turkmenistan is showing steady development. Thanks to modern enterprises equipped with advanced equipment and using high-quality local raw materials, there is a significant expansion in the range of high-quality leather products.

The products of the Gokdepe Leather Factory, sold under the brand "TG Aýakgap," are successfully marketed in the country's branded stores. The assortment includes men's classic shoes, elegant moccasins, and modern sneakers. Comfortable and practical moccasins are offered for women and children. A distinctive feature of many "TG Aýakgap" products is handmade manufacturing from their own natural leather, ensuring exclusivity and durability.

At the "Turkmentextile Expo 2025" exhibition-fair, a complex of sewing and footwear factories located in the Magtymguly etrap of Balkan velayat presented its line of leather accessories under the brand "Sypaýy." These products, including original men's bags, wallets, belts, sports and women's bags, are distinguished by high quality and are made from domestic raw materials. The "Sypaýy" products are available at the "Altyn Asyr" Marketing Center.

The brand "Röwşen" enjoys high consumer demand; it uses raw materials from the production enterprise JSC "Maksat-deri," located in Mary velayat, for footwear production. Their products include stylish and high-quality leather shoes for both adults and children. The economic society "Muhammet-Balkan," known under the brand "MB Shoes," has been producing men's, women's, and children's shoes from locally produced natural leather since 2019, as well as accessories such as bags, wallets, and purses.

The expansion of the range of leather and footwear products, strict quality control, and attention to consumer needs contribute to strengthening the positions of domestic brands not only in the internal market but also ensure their successful export.
