Representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, along with delegates from other Central Asian countries, took part in the first face-to-face module of the Regional Training Program on Digital Trade and Multimodal Transport.

The event was held in Tashkent as part of the project "Trade Facilitation in Central Asia", which is being implemented with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation. Participants studied the implementation of digital tools for the harmonization of multimodal transport in Central Asia.

Particular attention was paid to the model of reference data for multimodal transport, which allows to unite all types of transport into one system and simplify cross-border information exchange. The knowledge gained will help the participants to contribute to the creation of efficient logistics corridors in the region.
