In order to turn our country into a flowering garden in the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, create forest zones and properly care for planted tree seedlings, as well as the implementation of the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan №457 dated the 24^th of February 2023 «On planting trees in Turkmenistan in 2023», The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution ordering to hold a nationwide tree planting campaign in the country on the 18^th of March in 2023. The document also instructs the ministries, sectoral departments, hakimliks of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat to ensure that this nationwide action is held at a high organizational level.

One of the priorities of the foreign policy being pursued by the President of Turkmenistan is the maintenance and strengthening of food security at the international level. In order to practically implement the foreign policy aimed at developing multilateral cooperation with international partners in this area, and consistently promoting the measures taken with international organizations, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, instructing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Preservation, jointly with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to ensure a high-level of organization and holding of the International Conference “Partnership in the field of food security in the conditions of climate change” in Ashgabat on March 9-10, 2023.
