The number of information and educational events was held within the framework of the joint project of the EU and the Academy of Civil Service "Promoting the opportunity of public administration in Turkmenistan".

The project, launched in early 2017, aims to increase the opportunity of civil servants in the legislative and legal framework of the system of power and administration in the context of international experience and national practice.

The improved system of training of civil servants is required for the training of managers of a new generation that can effectively solve the problems of the formation and functioning of an innovative socio-economic development model. The international expert, the leading specialist of the EU Dr. Axel Kötz took part at the dedicated to this topic the "round table". His professional activities are related to the development of training programs to optimize various management structures, business processes, and public service apparatus.

The functional analysis of the activity of the Academy of Civil Service, conducted with the participation of Mr. Kotz, was focused on the modernization of teaching, methodological and research work. The international expert noted that the educational activity of the institution meet the real needs of state bodies of management of the central, sectoral and local levels that direct employees to training and further training.

The meeting dedicated to the system of assessing the quality of the educational process joint in the conference hall of the capital hotel "Archabil" higher-education teaching personnel of the Academy and representatives of a number of scientific institutions and higher schools of the country.

During the round table, the international expert on education from the Netherlands, Harry List, acquainted the audience with the experience of the higher academic schools of public administration in European countries. In particular, developing innovative standards and monitoring the quality of personnel, logistics infrastructure, including computer networks and electronic libraries emphasized.

Konstantin Panteleev, an international expert in the sphere of innovative technologies from Germany introduced the criteria for assessing the quality of education developed by the European Center for Higher Education of UNESCO.

The reports by representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Mahtumkuli State University, the Institute for International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the International University for the Humanities and Development were listen to within the framework of the discussion.

The training seminar for the faculty and students of the Academy for the development of innovative training programs became the final event, in which the head of the group of international experts of the joint project Folkert Milh took part.

Participants of the seminar noted that the system establishing of continuous professional education of civil servants has become an important factor for the country's sustainable development. Effective staff policy is one of the conditions for the successful functioning and improvement of the system of public administration.
