President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising the spheres of transport and communication, the Minister of Agriculture and Water Management, hyakims of the regions and Ashgabat.
The agenda included current objectives of social and economic development of the country, seasonal agricultural works as well as other issues of the state life.
First, the Head of the State called Hyakim of Ashgabat Sh. Durdyliyev who reported on the measures for further planning of the capital, situation at the construction sites as well as on the preparation to the Day of Turkmen Horse.
Speaking of the necessity to hold under unremitting control the issues of modernization of the infrastructure of the main city of the country, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of all works including the construction of new facilities, urban planning of the city districts, streets and parking zones paying great attention to esthetical and ecological components on integrated basis and in accordance with modern requirements.
Having noted that the events in honour of the world famous ahalteke horses – national pride of our people, are traditionally widely observed in Turkmenistan in the end of April, the Head of the State addressed the Hyakim of Ashgabat with number of specific assignments for provision of high organizational level of celebration events.
Video conference session was continued by the report of Hyakim of Ahal Velayat Sh. Amangeldiyev who reported on the measures in the region including the works in agricultural sector, organized cotton sowing and on the situation at the construction sites.
Having focused on the objectives of agricultural complex of the velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of the sowing campaign that makes the base for the harvest of valuable crop as well as other seasonal agricultural works that have to meet the standards. In this regards, having noted the necessity of timely preventive and other proper measures for the pest control, the Head of the State gave relative assignments to the Hyakim.
Having requested to provide permanent control of the realization of National rural programme, construction of various facilities and solution of the issues of systematic improvement of social and living conditions of the population, the President of the country also addressed the Head of Ahal Velayat administration with specific instructions for preparation the Day of Turkmen Horse that is annually observed on the last Sunday of April.
After, Hyakim of Balkan Velayat S. Satlykov reported on the situation in the region and works in agricultural sector.
Having noted the importance of practical implementation of advanced scientific developments for improvement of land fertility and generous harvest of various agricultural crops, the Head of the State also highlighted the necessity of rational use of water resources and application of water saving technologies for this purpose.
Having expressed the interest in the course and rates of construction new facilities in the velayat including in Avaza National tourism zone, the Head of the State ordered to provide the quality and schedule of these works.
In addition, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave relative instructions to the Hyakim on the preparation of the events on occasion of the Day of Turkmen Horse, which has to be held in the region, same like all around the country, on high organiational level.
After, Hyakim of Dashoguz Velayat M. Bayramguiyev reported on the agricultural works expanded in the region, especially on cotton sowing and other agrotechnical activities. Besides, it was reported on the situation at the construction sites in the velayat and on preparation to coming events dedicated to the Day of Turkmen Horse.
Having highlighted the importance of steady measures for the improvement of the efficiency of all structures of agricultural complex and increment of high quality agricultural production, the President of Turkmenistan gave targeted instructions on coordinated seasonal field works with strict compliance with all agrotechnical standards and rules based on scientific approach to the solution of the objectives of rich harvests and pest control.
The Head of the State addressed the Hyakim with specific assignments for further modernization of social and living infrastructure as well as for proper organization of the events in honour of legendary horse and national horse breeders.

Atahalliyev who gave detailed report on the articles of the agenda including on cotton sowing and measures for optimal use of available modern equipment in this important campaign. It was also reported on other seasonal works on agricultural fields and on the rates of construction of the facilities built under National rural programme.
The Head of the State focused on the necessity of the control of the objectives in this sphere and on the provision of active introduction of advanced technologies together with the implementation of big national experience developed in this field.

Speaking of the development of cotton production, the Head of the State highlighted that it is necessary to use maximally existing potential for receiving of rich harvests, especially valuable fine fibre species of cotton.
In this context, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave number of specific instructions to the Minister related to wide introduction of innovative methods of farming and application of advanced water saving technologies for irrigation of the fields, expansion of the hothouse farms network and increment of the export of agricultural production.
