The exhibition of Turkmen goods is a remarkable event in the business life of Tashkent

The National exhibition of Turkmenistan that showcased the wide range of goods produced by the leading branches of the national economy of Turkmenistan, including the petrochemical, textile, food, medical industries, the agriculture, construction materials industry, transport and logistics were held in the Uzexpocentre in Tashkent.

Addressing the forum participants and guests to the exposition, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the organization of such events contributed to enhancing the business activity and producing meaningful results.

According to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are the strategic partners that are strongly bounded with the centuries-old ties of friendship and good-neighborly relations, the affinity of history, religion and language, culture, customs and traditions, and the wide opportunities are opened up in the course of the intensive business relations between our business communities as well as in the framework of the strengthening interregional contacts.

According to the visitors, including the representatives of various ministries and departments of Uzbekistan and numerous citizens of Tashkent, the exhibition of Turkmen goods provides an opportunity to learn more about the economic potential of Turkmenistan as well as the Turkmen people’s rich historical and cultural heritage. That is also mentioned in the media publications about the exposition.

The expositions, telling about the development of the spheres of science and education, sports, tourism, the Ahalteke horse breeding were of particular interest among the visitors, who admired the Turkmen carpets with their original patterns, rich colours and the handicrafts aspects, and demonstrated keen interest in the Avaza National tourism zone on the Caspian coast as well as the tourist routes on the territories of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, including the routes along the Great Silk Road – ancient Merv, Kunyaurgench, Khorezm, Bukhara.
