The transport unit of the Turkmenabat chemical plant was replenished with a batch of new railway tank cars. Recently arrived 15 tanks intended mainly on export routes for transportation of sulfuric acid. One more batch of modern railway tanks is expected to arrive.

The enterprise is the largest producer of high-quality sulfuric acid in the Central Asian region. The modern industrial complex for the production of sulfuric acid with a capacity of 500,000 tons of products per year was put into operation on July 7, 2016, with the participation of the head of state. High-tech production operates day and night, releasing more than 1 thousand tons of sulfuric acid per day.

The sulfuric acid is the main raw material component in the production of phosphoric mineral fertilizers and is used in other industries, widely in demand on the world market. Turkmenabat chemists plan to increase the volumes of its export supplies.
