Foundation stone laying ceremonies were held in Govshut and Onaldy gengeshlyks of Kaahka and Ak Bugday etraps.
Provision of high level of life of people is important objectives of socially oriented state policy. During the session of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 24 this year, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution on construction of new modern villages in Gyoktepe, Ak Bugday and Kaahka etrap, Ahal Velayat.
In this regard, the Head of the State noted that implementation of the programme for transformation of the regions aimed at the growth of social and economic parameters, improvement of demographic and ecological indicators, improvement of life of the population in rural areas are integral part of progressive reforms. Steadfast implementation of changes is to support the improvement of production, economic, technical, social, business, scientific, educational, natural and resource potential in the regions, the Head of the State said.
Land plots with total area of 108 hectares has been allocated in the above-mentioned etraps for construction of new villages. Settlements with developed infrastructure, where it is planned to build 400 houses from 2,000 people in each villages, will appear in future there. There will be 100 5-room, 200 four-room and 100 three-room big-panel single-storey houses. All houses will have land plot, the shade of household needs, garage and necessary engineering and technical communications.
Administration buildings, schools for 640 students, kindergartens for 320 children, shopping centres, clinics, places for celebrations and national traditions, car parking will be built in living estates. Educational and medical facilities will be provided with advanced equipment. The projects provide planting of trees and planning of adjoin territories.
Delegations of the Mejlis led by deputy of National Parliament, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, heads of regional administrations, honoured elders, representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, other public organizations, mass media took part in the ceremony.
It was mentioned that construction of new exemplary high-comfort villages is character feature of the epoch of might and happiness, the epoch of fundamental renewal and wide-scale reforms that involved all parts of Turkmen land.
Deputy Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a speech on behalf of the parliamentarians where he highlighted that current events reflect the consistency and steadfast realization of socially oriented policy of the State. Together with integrated programmes and fundamental changes, the construction of new modern villages will not only improve the life of thousands of people but also will support comprehensive development of the region.
