The concert “Melodies of the Great Silk Road” took place in the Small Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory on November 26, in which the senior teacher of the Bakhshi department Garyagdy Saryev and students Agayusup Jumadurdyev and Ovezgeldy Amanov took part.

The artists performed works of outstanding representatives of the national music and song art - Nobat Bakhshi, Oraz Salyr, Gurta Yakubov, Agamurad Yagmyrov, Odeniyaz Nobatov, Satlyk Saryev and many others.

At all times, the art of bakhshi, which absorbed the centuries-old musical traditions of the Turkmen, enjoyed in our country a special honor and respect. The original performing style and unique intonation technique determined the strength of the emotional impact on the listeners. The legends of Bakhshi Destanchi became a reflection of the people's soul.
