Modern cold-chain store for storage of 2,000 tons of fruits and vegetables was put into operation in Bagtiyarlyk etrap of the capital.
The facility built by the order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management by specialists of Ýüpek ýoly täjirçilik and Röwşen Individual enterprises is provided with specialized equipment from the leading manufacturers of Germany, Holland and Turkey.
Computer cooling system of the store controls and support optimal temperature and humidity mode in chillers and freeze chambers depending on the type of fruits and vegetables inside. Premises for storage of onion and potato have special ventilation system allowing preserving the presentation and quality of products.
Major part of new facility is occupied by 23 cold chambers – 12 for storage of fruits, 7 for vegetables, 3 for initial freezing and one deep freezing chamber. The building has automatic lines for product sorting and packing as well as for preservation. All premises have racking and special containers for storage of fruits and vegetables. The facility has forklifts and refrigerator trucks of various capacity for shipment and delivery of the production to consumers.
Administration building has a laboratory for inspection of the quality of fresh fruits and vegetables that come to the facility and dispatched to shopping centres and markets.
On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the facility received new vehicles, which supplemented the fleet of the store with eight new refrigerator trucks for transportation of 4, 12 and 25 tons of production and four forklifts.
