During the talks, the sides discussed number of subjects related to the development of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Energy Charter, which has started its activity on December 19, 2008.
Practical training of the representatives of our country in the Secretary Office of the Organization has also been reviewed under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Secretary Office of the Energy Charter on further development of cooperation dated November 28, 2017.

Following this, being one of the leading energy powers, Turkmenistan carries out targeted foreign activity for the last several years focusing the attention of the world community on provision of energy security.
In this regard, having mentioned the priorities and efficiency of the 28th Conference of the Energy Charter in Ashgabat on November 28 – 29, 2017, the sides reviewed the subject of the 15th session of Target Group for Regional energy cooperation in Southern and Central Asia (RECCA) in 2019.
