Total volume growth of trade turnover for the period under review by the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations was 10.1 percent.
The State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange held 249 trade session and made 26,374 contracts for this period. Total volume of income increased by 23.4 percent.
Service growth rate by the Trade and Industrial Chamber was 48.7 percent, profit growth rate – 54.2 percent and growth of total income was 107.3 percent. 24 exhibitions and 26 conferences were held in 2018.
Volume of industrial production made by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan has grown by 20.7 percent, agricultural and food production by 21.7 percent.
In the result of support rendered by the state to development of entrepreneurship in the country, total volume of export food production by individual enterprises increased by 63.8 percent, non-food and industrial good by 57.1 percent comparing with 2017.
