The Vice-premier informed that the growth rates of the GDP was 6.2 percent comparing with the same period of 2018.
According to the information from all ministries and department, in general, the volume of production for the period under review is 4.9 percent higher comparing with the same period of the last year.
The indicator of the retail turnover for January 2019 has grown by 19 percent comparing with the same period of the last year.
By the outcomes of the first month, the revenue of the State budget was executed to the amount of 1.4 billion manats while the expenditure to the amount of 1 billion manats.
Salary wages in major and medium facilities of the country has increased by 9.4 percent comparing with the same period of 2018.
The volume of capital investments sent for the construction of production and social facilities as well as infrastructural facilities under the implementation of new Programme improving of social and living conditions of the regions was 181.6 million manats.
Summing up the report, Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused the attention of the Vice-premier on the utmost objectives of organizations of economic sector. Control of the implementation of the Programme of social and economic development of the country in 2019 – 2025 as well as fulfilment of financial plans by the ministries and departments are among the main directions of activity of organizations of this system.
After, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Meredov reported on the outcomes of work of the facilities of fuel and energy complex for the first month of the year.
In particular, it was mentioned that the plan for oil and gas condensate production was executed by 103.2 percent, natural and associated gas by 107.9 percent, processing of hydrocarbon materials by 113.3 percent, production of gasoline by 101.3 percent, diesel fuel by 108.8 percent, lubricants by 100.9 percent, liquefied gas by 110.6 percent, investment development by 113.5 percent.
Having listened to the report, the President of Turkmenistan focused on the objectives of further development of petroleum industry, improvement of its production, scientific and technical potential, which is to support the improvement of competiveness of national fuel and energy complex in the world and to provide its significant contribution to social and economic progress of the country.
In this context, the President pointed out the perspectives that are opened by application of latest digital technologies in oil and gas sphere. It allows significant improvement of the efficiency of geological survey, development of hard-accessible hydrocarbon deposits and production return of old fields.
Development of recommendations for intellectual innovative development of petroleum industry including the projects of digital wells and deposits has to be one of the main direction of activity of profile scientific institutes, the Head of the State said, having addressed the Vice-premier with number of specific assignments.
After, the floor was given to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E. Orazgeldiyev who reported on the outcomes of activity of the branches under his supervision in January 2019 and on current seasonal field works.
In general, the growth rate of production volumes, completed works and services was 105. 2 percent in agricultural complex. This indicator has reached 105.2 percent in the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Protection, 104.7 percent in the State Committee of water Management and 105.1 percent in the State Association «Türkmen atlary».
For January, the production plan of various food production was fulfilled by 155.1 percent.
Having listened to the report, the President of Turkmenistan focused on the digitization of agricultural complex, having ordered the Vice-premier to hold the work in this direction under strict control.

Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the necessity to continue putting maximum efforts for provision of coordinated and efficient work of industrial and transport spheres, which is an integral factor of steadfast social and economic development of the country.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers D. Amangeldiyev reported on the outcomes of activity in construction and energy complexes as well as in the sphere of municipal services for January 2019.
The plan of works by the Hyakimlik of Ashgabat was executed by 128.3 percent with the growth rate of 108.3 percent.
The plan of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture fulfilled the plan by 101.3 percent with the growth rate of 100.3 percent.
The Ministry of energy fulfilled the plan by 114.9 percent with the growth rate of 109.4 percent.
The Vice-premier also reported on the activity related to further improvement of work of construction and energy complexes and the department of municipal services, reliable and uninterrupted provision of consumers with electricity, timely opening of buildings and facilities.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed discontent with the organization of the works for mitigation of weather factors and their consequences by the structures of municipal services.
The Head of the State highlighted that it is necessary to achieve that management of the facilities and companies carrying out construction activity in the city would pay special attention to weather factors in strict compliance with all project requirements. It is necessary to study the capabilities of efficient utilization of rai and flood water on scientific base, Turkmen leader stated.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that at present time, construction complex is aimed at the implementation of major state industrialization programmes, creation of modern transport infrastructure, import substitutive production and increment of export volumes, construction of residential buildings and improvement of the region.
At the same time, such important objectives as enhancement of competiveness of national construction industry, strengthening of its production, scientific and technical potential, expansion of variety of construction materials from local resources, introduction of efficient forms of management in condition of the transit to digital economy are solved, the Head of the State said.
The President ordered to accelerate the rates of works in all directions including the modernization of road and transport infrastructure, planning of residential estates and surrounding territories.
Video conference session was continued by the report of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Gylyjov. The Vice-premier reported to the Head of the State on the outcomes of work of the branches under his supervision in January as well as on the fulfilment of the plans of development of economic cooperation and foreign trade.
Total volume of turnover for the first month of 2019 by the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations has grown by 33.6 percent comparing with the same period 0f 2018 including in retail and wholesale trade by 10.2 and 44.9 percent respectively. The volume of production increased by 7.2 percent.
22 trade sessions have been registered at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange in January where 2,106 transactions have been registered.
The Trade and Industrial Chamber provided 83.2 percent of services more for the period under review.
The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs made 6.6 percent more industrial production and 19.2 percent more agricultural and food production.
It was informed in the report that construction of Ashgabat – Turkmenabat highway launched according to the Resolution of the Head of the State is successfully carried out in Ahal Velayat.
The Vice-premier also informed that Turkmenistan delegation is going to Germany on February 11 – 14 this year for participation in Turkmen – German business forum.
Having listened to the report, the Head of the State said about important role of Turkmen – German Working Commission as an efficient mechanism in development of partnership with this European country. Having expressed the confidence that coming business forum in Berlin would have great importance and give strong impulse to fruitful cooperation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed relative Resolution and sent it to the Vice-premier by electronic document management system.
Further, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Abdiyeva reported on the outcomes of work in the structure under her supervision in January this year.
It was informed that the indicator of the State Committee for Tourism of services to tourist for the first month was 102.3 percent comparing with the same period of the last year.
The plan of Turkmen State Publishing Service was fulfilled by 100.1 percent.
During the month, mass media carried out integrated work for the explanation of the main goals and objectives of the state strategy. Oguzkhan Turkmenfilm Association has started the production of movies, cartoons and documentary.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov outlined priority direction of further development of cultural sphere, formation of the state ideology based on spiritual values of Turkmen nation.
Progress of the State and society mainly depends of proper organization of the activity for moral and aesthetic education of growing generation with active participation of cultural personnel, the President noted. In this context, the necessity to pay special attention to improvement of quality of various TV and radio programmes including news, scientific and popular shows has been highlighted.

It was mentioned that according to national and international practice, the Concept of development of digital educational system and plan of improvement of teaching foreign languages, the work on modernization of educational programmes, enrichment of books’ content, active introduction of innovative scientific achievements and advanced technologies to education process was continued.

Having focused on the subjects of further development of preventive component of health protection system related to growing amount of guests coming to our country including the tourists, the Head of the State pointed out the importance to hold epidemiological situation in the region and in the world under control.
In this context, having noted the necessity of close and active cooperation with the World Health Organization including in immunization sphere, prevention of spread of various diseases in our country, the President of Turkmenistan gave number of specific assignments on this account.
Speaker of the Mejlis G. Mammedova informed on the work for modernization of legal and regulatory base of the country in January.
It was mentioned that legislative authority works closely with relevant structures for improvement of legal base of the reforms and implementation of the programmes of social and economic development in the country. at the same time, special attention is paid to compliance of adopted laws with universal standards of international law.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that steadfast modernization of legal and regulatory framework is an integral term of dynamic progress of the country.
Further, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that near term objectives have been outlined at the previous session of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the outcomes of 2018 and at the meeting with the deputies of the Mejlis.
The Head of the State noted the necessity to take active part in the implementation of the Programme of social and economic development of the country in 2019 – 2025, having pointed out Vice-premier G. Myradov to report on the progress of the Programme at the sessions of the Cabinet of Ministers quarterly. Other Vice-premiers have also to provide the reports.
It is necessary to continue the work on transition to digital system, production and increment of volumes of national import substitutive and export goods, the President highlighted. In addition, the measures for attraction of the investments to the economy of the country, increment of the income of foreign currency have to be taken.
The work on improvement of the government administration has to be continued, the Head of Turkmenistan continued, the fulfilment of the State Budget has to be under strict control and all unexpected and administration costs have to be reduced in the future.
It is necessary to use marketing mechanisms in credit, monetary and financial systems, the President noted, having demanded to take measures aimed at the diversification of national economy, increment of the share of private sector and active implementation of its potential.
Addressing Vice-premeirs M. Meredov and E. Orazgeldiyev, the Head of the State pointed out the necessity to increase the attention to the works in oil and gas sphere and agriculture, having highlighted the importance of searching for new methods of arrangement of productive activity of these branches.
