It was mentioned that the settlements are designated for 3,500 families. The houses with land plots will have all conditions meeting time requirements. Schools, kindergartens, cultural facilities, shopping centres, administrative, public and other facilities provided with advanced equipment will also be built in the settlements. In addition, according to integrated approach to construction of modern living initiated by the President of Turkmenistan, it is planned to build one, two and four-storey buildings.
Having studied and approved in general presented projects, the Head of the State ordered the Vice-premier and Hyakim together with profile specialists to study the location of new villages, level of ground waters on these territories and to justify received information on scientific basis. Provision of ecological wealth of future settlements, creation of all capabilities for cultivation of fruits and vegetables are necessary conditions in this case.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made special mention that provision of all amenities both for adults and children are important requirement of the construction of living. Traditions of national architecture have to be considered in architectural image and design of these facilities and the work for planning of surrounding territories has to be carried out.

According to developed plan, the trees, which will be planted in the capital surroundings and along Karakum River, were selected taking into account soil and climate conditions of these places. All necessary works for provision of high organizational level of tree planting campaign are also carried out.
Having noted that it is necessary to approach nationwide cleaning Saturday day in Ashgabat and all around the country with full responsibility, the President requested to pay special attention to preparation of soil and condition of seedlings. High-level meeting held in Avaza National tourist zone confirmed the commitment of participating countries to further development of constructive cooperation meeting the interests of common wealth and built on the base of primordial traditions of friendship and goodwill.
Summing up the report, the President highlighted that Turkmenistan invariably takes active and initiative position in consolidation of the efforts of the country members of the IFAS for the development of agreed solution for recovery of Aral crisis. In this regard, Turkmen side made proposal on development of the UN Special Programme for Aral Sea including specific plans for stabilization and improvement of the situation in the basin of Aral Sea at the Sustainable Development Conference in Rio de Janeiro (RIO+20) in June 2012. In the future, this Programme would be able to become the platform for preparation of multilateral documents of the UN for problems of inland waters.
The initiative of our country about the promotion of water diplomacy as a new form of multilateral diplomatic communication on water issues, which was made at the VII World Forum in Tegu (The Republic of Korea), also gains special currency. After, the President called Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister R. Meredov who reported on the work under the International Fund for Saving of Aral Sea where Turkmenistan is chairing in 2017 – 2019.
While chairing the IFAS based on specially developed Concept aimed at the improvement of the efficiency of activity of the Fund, strengthening of efficient partnership of Aral Sea countries taking into account long-term perspective, intensification of the cooperation with competent international organizations especially with the UN, our country demonstrates the most serious approach to the fulfilment of this responsible mission.
Steadfast measures taken by neutral Turkmenistan under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in this direction find wide support of the world community. This is visually indicated by the fact of unanimous adoption of the Resolution of the UN general Assembly on Cooperation between the United Nations Organization and International Fund for Saving of Aral Sea on April 12, 2018, which was initiated by Turkmenistan.
It was also mentioned that as is known, the UN General Assembly Resolution on Provision of the IFAS with Status of Observer in the UN General Assembly was adopted in December 2018, which has proven the global character of Aral problem.
In this context, the Summit of the Countries Founders of the IFAS held in Turkmenistan in August last year was an important event. High-level meeting held in Avaza National tourist zone confirmed the commitment of participating countries to further development of constructive cooperation meeting the interests of common wealth and built on the base of primordial traditions of friendship and goodwill.
Summing up the report, the President highlighted that Turkmenistan invariably takes active and initiative position in consolidation of the efforts of the country members of the IFAS for the development of agreed solution for recovery of Aral crisis. Chairing the International Fund of Saving of Aral Sea, our country actively supports the intensification of fruitful cooperation in such current subjects as the improvement of social and economic and ecological situation in Aral region, rational water management, protection and improvement of environment, adaptation to the climate change.
Implementing large-scale national programmes and projects in economic, social, humanitarian and ecological spheres, Turkmenistan also tries to implement available significant potential for common sake. At the same time, the solution of all relative objectives is closely connected with the achievement of the Global Sustainable Development Goals, the Head of the State noted.
Further, the President highlighted that is obvious that saving of Aral Sea cannot be thought as local regional problem. Integrated international approach, active and systematic participation of the United Nations in this work are required.
In this regard, Turkmen side made proposal on development of the UN Special Programme for Aral Sea including specific plans for stabilization and improvement of the situation in the basin of Aral Sea at the Sustainable Development Conference in Rio de Janeiro (RIO+20) in June 2012. In the future, this Programme would be able to become the platform for preparation of multilateral documents of the UN for problems of inland waters.
The initiative of our country about the promotion of water diplomacy as a new form of multilateral diplomatic communication on water issues, which was made at the VII World Forum in Tegu (The Republic of Korea), also gains special currency. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that this is what Turkmenistan sees as the opportunity of systematic dialog aimed at the review of all problems related to the protection of water resources, their careful and rational use, at the development of relative mechanisms of international cooperation.
Continuing the subject, the President noted the importance of the Resolution of the United Nations General Assembly on Cooperation between the United Nations and the International Fund for Saving of Aral Sea prepared and adopted by the initiative of Turkmen side, which is aimed at creation of the conditions for closer partnership of the countries founder of the IFAS with the UN.
Regarding water and ecological issues in Central Asia in general, our country always stands for their review and solution based on universal standards of international law taking into account the interests of all states of the region with the participation of international organizations recognizing that regional consensus is the only accepted form for efficient interstate collaboration.
Speaking of this, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that establishment of cooperation in this area has to rest on relative criteria of work on national level.
Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that measures for combating of desertification, on improvement of soil conditions of lands are very important in the context of solution of Aral Sea problems. For this purpose, our country developed and implements the complex of measures including g major tree planting activity.
Having focused on the outcomes of the Summit of the Heads of the States Founders of the IFAS in Avaza national tourist zone last August, the Head of the State highlighted that this meeting had specific character, having demonstrated the willingness of the sides to further long-term cooperation.
Summing up what was said above, the President confirmed invariable commitment of Turkmenistan to efficient consolidation of efforts for saving of Aral Sea and elimination of the consequences of Aral crisis, willingness to constructive regional and international partnership in this direction. In this regard, the Vice-premier, Head of foreign Ministry received number of assignments including propaganda of initiatives and activity of our country in the above0mentioned subjects.
