Today, services offered by Turkmenpost include not only delivery of letters, packages, parcels, periodicals, but also payment of utility bills, delivery of EMS (Express Mail Service) items to 190 countries, members of the Universal Postal Union, among others.
Railway tickets can be purchased at post offices as well. A parcel collection service is available on the company’s website at www.turkmenpost.gov.tm with a courier coming right to a customer’s doorstep to pick up a parcel. In addition, the website offers options of online shopping, non-cash payments and home delivery.
The postal service is designing an Internet portal which will showcase products offered for sale by different domestic enterprises.
The Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency is taking integrated actions to modernize the national postal system. Last year, Turkmenpost expanded its vehicle fleet with 55 cars, trucks, minibuses and SUVs to speed up the delivery of mail and offer a wider spectrum of services.
