It is the tenth anniversary of the foundation of International Ahalteke Equestrian Association in 2020. In this context, the President of Turkmenistan informed at the session of the Government on May 24 that he thinks it is reasonable to hold next anniversary session of the Association in Lebap Velayat.

Unique architectural monuments remained in the eastern region of the country indicate rich history and culture of Turkmen nation. Caravan routes of the Silk Road, which served as the road of cultural and trade cooperation in Eurasia, used to run in the old times there. Modern social, economic and transport infrastructures have been made in modern age in Lebap Velayat and great attention is paid to the development of horse breeding.

Conducting the session of International Ahalteke Equestrian Association in every region of the country would support the popularization of legendary horses and improvement of the world glory of ahalteke horses, the President highlighted.

In this regard, the Head of the State ordered to prepare equestrian complex of the velayat and to bring racing tracks to the compliance with modern requirements under preparation to international forum.
