All regions of the country have fulfilled their contractual obligations. First, cocoon producers of Ahal, Lebap, Mary Velayats and Balkan and Dashoguz Velayats afterwards, have reported about this.

These measures became actual stimulus for further increment of volumes of agricultural production. The interest of rural population in silk production is growing. In addition, plantation of mulberry trees along the fields is a good protection of agricultural crops from wind and support the strengthening of the banks of irrigation channels.

Production infrastructure of textile industry including silk production section, which product meets high international standards and is on high demand, is steadily modernized based on advanced technologies. All of these supports the improvement of competiveness of national silk industry and bringing of it to new levels.
