The first shipment of eco-friendly gasoline delivered to Afghanistan

First shipment of eco-friendly gasoline, which was dispatched from the only in the world plant for production of synthetic gasoline from natural gas, has come to Akina railway station in Afghanistan.

As it was informed, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who took part in the opening ceremony of innovative industrial complex in Ahal Velayat, gave start to the big shipment of production of new facility – gasoline and liquefied natural gas. Therefore, Turkmenistan has continued rendering support to economic restoration of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan implementing the policy of neutrality and good neighbourliness.

Undoubtedly, taking the measures for supporting of Afghanistan demonstrates to the world the intent of Turkmenistan to solve the objectives and the confidence in final success. This is the consolidation of the efforts, which are based on good will and mutual trust, on support of the world community represented by the United Nations Organization and other big competent international and regional structures, which is necessary condition for strengthening of stability and steadfast development of this country and prosperity of Afghan people in the end.

The train and motorcade with ECO-93 gasoline and LNG were met at the Akina railway station by Hyakim of Akina Azimi Bashir Ahmad, representative of the Foreign Ministry of Afghanistan Gulam Resul Aymak, head of the customs of Akina railway station, representatives of oil, gas and railway structures, Afghan mass media – Ayna, Batry and Milli TV channels, Turkish News Agecy Anadolu Agency and other.

The official of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, representatives of local administration and residents made speeches during the handover ceremony of humanitarian shipment to Afghan side and expressed the gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and to Turkmen people for permanent fraternal support.
