Articles of the issue reflect constructive character of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russian Federation in stable development of Caspian region. In this context, the importance of coming first Caspian Economic Forum in Avaza National tourist zone this August, which was initiated by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has been mentioned.
Multiformat dialog with Russian Federation and its constituencies is one of the vectors of foreign strategy of Turkmenistan. In this regard, growing level of cooperation with Astrakhan Region, Russian Federation is indicative. The delegation of the region chaired by Acting Governor of Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin intends to take part in the I Caspian Economic Forum, which plans to be resulted in signing of relative documents with Turkmen side. In addition, the first session of Turkmen – Astrakhan Council for Entrepreneurship will be held in Turkmenbashy on August 11, 2019.

Opening of Magtumguly Fragi Secondary School, which was built by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan by the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in Funtovo village, Astrakhan Region in May, 2018, participation of Astrkhan school students in Children Cultural and Sport Festival of Caspian States in Avaza as well as the events of this year timed to the 295th birth anniversary of great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtumguly Fragi are among important events.
