In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On international agreements of Turkmenistan”, Chairman of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, B. Amansaryyev is authorized to sign the Memorandum on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance on data message exchange between the State News Agency of Turkmenistan and TV-Novosti, an autonomous non-profit organization (a Russian international television network - Russia Today (RTTV)).

This is another important step towards widening the audience of Turkmen mass media and entering the international level. The partnership opens up new opportunities for studying the world best practices, using new technologies and implementing joint information projects, ensuring the professional growth of mass media specialists.

The President of Turkmenistan regularly discusses cooperation between Turkmenistan and other countries in the field of mass media during top level talks, meetings with heads of governments and international organizations, representatives of state and business circles of the world.

According to the President of Turkmenistan, media as the main tool for disseminating important information plays a key role in this dialogue, setting up the task to national print and electronic publications to widen partnership and establish direct contacts to increase international public awareness about our country, its achievements and success.

To achieve this goal, consistent work is carried out to develop cooperation both within the framework of integrating the Turkmen media in the global information picture - in the format of international professional associations, and in a bilateral level.

The State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) signed documents on cooperation with the leading media in Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and other countries that contributes to distributing reliable information about Turkmenistan in these countries and all around the world.

In general, the Memorandum on Cooperation between TDH and RT is designed to create wider and transparent channels and platforms for familiarizing the world community with the progressive humanistic policy, pursued by independent neutral Turkmenistan aimed at maintaining peace and stability, friendship and mutual understanding in the region and on the planet.

Such a partnership is of particular importance for broadcasting reparatory works and organization of major international events, such as, for example, the CIS Summit of Heads of State recently held in the Turkmen capital, or the upcoming celebrations in honor of the anniversary of Turkmen neutrality in 2020.
