Subject matters of the meeting includes wide range of subjects of development of health protection sphere including the aspects of treatment of infectious diseases as well as such current directions as a human ecology and hygiene of the environment, professional medicine. The review of fundamental and applied medical studies will be made.
An exhibition presenting achievements of health protection and medical industry of Turkmenistan and panoramic life of the country’s life, customs and traditions of the nation has been organized under the forum.
Members of the delegation had a meeting with director of the Astrakhan State Medical University (ASMU) Olga Bashkina, during which they have discussed perspectives of cooperation.
Director of Astrakhan University noted big input of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to activation of dialog between Turkmenistan and Astrakhan Region of Russia including in scientific, educational and medical sphere and expressed hope that the Memorandum on Cooperation between M. Karriyev Turkmen State Medical University and Astrakhan State Medical University would be signed shortly.
In its turn, Turkmen delegation expressed gratitude for warm welcome as well as invited the heads of the ASMU to visit Ashgabat and take part in the work of educational exhibition and conference, which are to be held in November this year.
