The President of Turkmenistan headed to the Kuksaroý Palace – the venue for the official events of the Summit. First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon also arrived in Tashkent to take part in the meeting of the heads of the Central Asian states.
After the traditional ceremony of photographing, the heads of the five Central Asian states headed to the small conference hall of the Kuksaroý Palace to hold a top-level pentalateral meeting.
The agenda of the Summit includes the issues on expanding regional cooperation in political, trade and economic, investment, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian areas and other spheres, as well as the exchange of views on the key aspects of international issues and regional security.
