Member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Shatlyk Kakajanov implements business project for opening the facility for processing of tomatoes. Land plot has been allocated in long-term lease to the entrepreneurs for construction in Yalkym gengeshlyk, S. Turkmenbashy etrap.
The plant will be the first private structure in rural area, which will produce tomato paste and juice. As of now, construction of production building, where part of specialized equipment has been installed, was accomplished. Construction of auxiliary facilities is still going on.
According to specialists, not less than 380 tons of tomato production will be produced at the facility at initial stage after the opening.
As is known, Dashoguz Velayat is one of the biggest producers of fruits and vegetables in the country. Just in this year, 570 hectares of land have been allocated for tomatoes, from which 14,262 tons of vegetables were produced, which is more than planned. Number of modern hothouse farms of different forms of ownership is specialized in cultivation of this crop.
