On February 29, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania together with diplomatic missions of CIS countries organized the annual festival "Meet the Spring". The event was held in Bucharest, in the building of the Russian Center for Science and Culture, where each of the participating countries exhibited its national stand.

Among the guests to the festival were the representatives of various Romanian departments and the diplomatic corps, as well as public figures, residents of Bucharest, media representatives, students from Turkmenistan studying in the universities of the Romanian capital.

The national exposition, which includes the works of the decorative and applied arts, books, information booklets and photo materials, introduced the traditions and customs of the Turkmen people, made it possible to make a visual tour of the historical monuments and natural attractions of our country, to get an idea of the modern achievements of Turkmenistan in various fields, the appearance of white marble Ashgabat.

The visitors of the national stand were also acquainted with the progress of preparations to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of acquiring the status of permanent neutrality.

The guests got acquainted with the gastronomic traditions of the Turkmen people while tasting the best dishes of the Turkmen cuisine.
