Reforms, including in agricultural sphere, are implemented in the region just like all around the country. Permanent attention of the Head of the State to creation of favourable conditions for productive work of the farmers provides increment of agricultural production volumes.
Early in the morning, the President has come to Türkmenistan Farming Association in Vekilbazar etrap. The vehicle of the Head of the State has stopped at the land plot of tenant Amanberdy Pursahedov.
Upon arrival, Turkmen leader was met by the Speaker of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of some ministries and departments.
Addressing he tenant, the Head of the State wished him success in receiving generous yields of the wheat, having highlighted that honest work of farmers is a deserving contribution to prosperity of the country. After, the Head of the State expressed the interest in the course of works.
Having expressed gratitude to the President for created conditions for high productive work, A. Pursahedov informed that he grew Goşant wheat at 25 hectares of land and expects to receive more than 4 tons of grain from each hectare.
The President has cut the sheaf of ripe wheat ears. He was followed by all participants. After, machine operators of CLAAS and John Deere agricultural equipment have started reapign the wheat.
Having looked around the field after work of the equipment, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that advanced agricultural equipment demonstrates high efficiency and quality collection of grain without any loss.
The Head of the state has asked about all stages of works carried out in the fields. According to the tenant, his ancestors were peasants and he, himself, connected his life with land from young age. Further, the farmer has told about the process of the wheat cultivation, having highlighted that the government provides support to farmers in procurement of modern equipment and accessories, provision of mineral fertilizers, quality seeds and pest control chemicals on reduced price, timely settlement of payments for delivered production.
The farmer has also told to the Head of the State he cultivates fruit trees and breeds livestock on his land.
The Head of the State wished success and presented valuable gifts to the farmer. After, the President has talked to women who cooked various dishes of Turkmen cuisine.
Exhibition of seeds of different cotton and wheat species bred by Turkmen selectionists on scientific base as well as bread and bakery has been expanded at the same place.
The Head of the State expressed interest in characteristics of presented seeding material, including Goşant wheat, which was sown by grain producer Amanberdy Pursahedov on his field. This variety meet local soil and climate conditions, is distinguished by high productivity, resistance to diseases and big size grains.
Freshly baked bread and traditional sweets made of flour from new harvest have been offered to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Having tried hot bread, Turkmen leader wished generous food to everyone.
Having highlighted that all conditions for productive work of the farmers and rich harvests would be provided, the Head of the State wished grain producers success and left to Oguzkhan etrap.
After some time, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in the field of Erkin gurluşyk private company, which is specialized in growing of apples.
The Head of the State was warmly greeted by the manager of the company, member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Toyly Chariyev. Turkmen leader looked around the fields of the private company allocated for cucurbitaceous crops and fruit trees.
Speaking of the activity of his company, T. Chariyev informed that he grows forage crops, 10 hectares are allocated for construction of livestock complex and that the company breeds around 300 cattle. By the end of the year, he plans to increase the livestock up to 750 animals. Vineyards, fruit gardens and fields under cucurbitaceous crops are spread on 300 hectares.
The businessmen said that gardening, in particular growing of apples, is the main activity of the company. The manager noted that these lands have been badly salinized and necessary work has been carried out for soil reclamation. The garden was planted in 2017.
The Head of the State has expressed interest in technology of apple cultivation. The businessmen told that protection carcass is used for to prevent sun burns of the fruits. Modern irrigation and fertilization methods including the latest technologies in this field are applied.
T. Chariyev informed that 55 people work at his facility at present and as he plans to increase the production, the staff would be increased to 150 employee.
The President highlighted that the government would continue taking care of comprehensive development of small and medium business, having noted that all current changes are aimed at improvement of social and living conditions of people.
Continuing the subject, the Head of the State has advice to grow other fruits as well. Having focused on importance of organization of processing of reaped fruits, the President recommended using it for cooking of jams and compotes.
Turkmen leader wished big success in work to the tenants and presented him valuable gift. The Head of the State has looked around the exhibition of achievements of agricultural industry of the velayat.
The Head of the State gave instructions to relative officials to take proper measures for fulfilment of objectives specified by the Programme of social and economic development of the country. It is necessary to approach the development of industrial infrastructure, provision of support of entrepreneurs with full responsibility, the Head of the State highlighted.
Summing up the outcomes of working trip, the President highlighted again that large-scale reforms expanded in Turkmenistan are aimed at provision of high living standards, which requires detailed and well-thought approach to their implementation.
The directions on enhancement of production potential of the country and provision of food abundance, which are important factors of prosperity of the state and steadfast improvement of life of the people, have been given.
Having said warm goodbye to the participants and wished success to work to all, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went to Mary International Airport from where left for Ashgabat.
