On April 9, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey and the University of Ankara organized an exhibition and conference on the occasion of the publication of Turkish editions of the works by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Atda wepa-da bar, sapa-da” (“Horse is a symbol of Loyalty and Happiness”) and “Türkmeniň döwletlilik ýörelgesi" ("The Principles of Turkmen statehood ").
The celebration was held on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan and the declaration of 2021 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.
Chief Adviser to the Turkish President Yalçın Topçu, Rector of Ankara University, Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, Chairman of the Turkmen-Turkish Friendship Group Ibrahim Aydemir, as well as representatives of the scientific community and citizens of Turkey, the diplomatic corps, students from among the Turkmen youth, the media attended the event.
The forum started with acquaintance with the exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of our country. The exhibits, including paintings and decorative and applied art, photographs and printed output tell about the landmark milestones of sovereign development and large-scale achievements of our country, introduce the historical and cultural heritage and traditions of the Turkmen people. The works by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov occupy the special place at the thematic exposition.
A video that tells about the achievements of Turkmenistan over the years of independence was demonstrated within the framework of the event. Welcoming forum participants, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey Ishanguly Amanliev focused on the key vectors of domestic and foreign policy of Turkmenistan, and also highlighted the content of the books of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "The Principles of Turkmen Statehood" and "Horse - a Symbol of Loyalty and Happiness".
Speaking during the meeting, Turkish officials emphasized the importance of translating these works into Turkish in the context of the development of interstate dialogue, as well as familiarizing the Turkish public with the history and mental values of the Turkmen people.
