About two tons of dried apricots were produced this year by the collective of private enterprises for production of dried fruits, owned by a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country Z.Dovletov. It is located on the territory of the Shatlyk geneshlik of the Niyazov etrap of the Dashoguz velayat. A small production facility has departments for storing and drying raw materials, processing them, and a warehouse for storing finished products. The high-performance equipment installed here allows to carry out all the necessary operations for cutting fruits, removing cores from them, drying, packaging finished products. Now the team is preparing to receive a large batch of apples for processing. A private enterprise is capable of producing up to 100 tons of vitamin products from fruits and melons per year.
In the Dashoguz velayat, despite the difficult natural and climatic conditions, they invariably receive high yields of apples, pears, plums, cherry plums, cherries, cherries and others. Here, much attention is always paid to the progressive development of horticulture based on respect for nature and the rational use of its rich land and water resources. Today, orchards of the Dashoguz velayat occupy thousands of hectares of fertile land. At the same time, the number of people wishing to do gardening is growing every year. This was largely facilitated by the creation, as in the whole country, of special agricultural land funds, of which land plots are allocated for the production of fruits and vegetables, the development of horticulture and viticulture, for use by the population for a period of 99 years.
Such an increase in the volume of horticultural, fruit and vegetable and melon products, required the creation of a developed network of facilities that contribute to the safety of the grown crop and its processing. So, as a result of state investments, a new large refrigerated warehouse was built in the city of Dashoguz, designed to store three thousand tons of vegetables, fruits and potatoes.
